1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Re:Focus ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Re:Focus is a personal project management and action-item board. The Service is provided as-is for individual productivity use.
3. Your Data
You retain full ownership of all content you create on Re:Focus, including board data, cards, tasks, notes, and communications. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
You may export or delete your data at any time. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed.
4. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must provide a valid email address for account verification and recovery.
- You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to transmit harmful content.
5. API and Integrations
API keys grant programmatic access to your board. You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure. Revoke compromised keys immediately via Settings.
6. Service Availability
We strive to keep Re:Focus available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may change, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time with reasonable notice where possible.
7. No Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Re:Focus and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
